Technician – Injection Molding

The Role
We’re seeking a Setup Person responsible for ensuring injection molds are installed correctly and operate efficiently to meet cycle times, part quality, and scrap targets. This role is key to maintaining productivity and supporting our production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjust processes to meet cosmetic and dimensional specifications.
- Diagnose part defects and determine root causes (process, mold, machine, or auxiliary equipment).
- Assist with mold changes and verify setups performed by other operators.
- Monitor machine productivity for efficiency and quality during shifts.
- Complete and document final setups and support production supervisors with shift coordination.
- Install and remove molds when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification in mechanics, electronics, or related fields preferred.
- Setup Operator in injection molding industry, or equivalent experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial mechanics is a plus.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to move heavy objects frequently (mold carts, toolboxes).
- Stand, bend, and walk as needed throughout shifts.
- Work in a controlled manufacturing environment with PPE
The position will be on-site full-time. Must be available to work in the plant regularly to properly oversee projects and issues.
