Current Openings

PROJECT Engineer 

Develops, coordinates, executes, and implements projects aimed at improving operations at Techno-Plastics Industries. Has the authority to coordinate and lead project activities, evaluate and implement new technologies, and carry out validations of new products, molds, and processes, ensuring compliance with the objectives established for operational improvement within the company.

 Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering area.
  2. Minimum experience working in a COOP program, internship, or special projects, with operational experience in the industry, preferably in the manufacturing of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and/or plastic molding. Or an equivalent number of years of experience in related positions, preferably in project management within the manufacturing industry.
Tool & Die Maker

Repairs, modifies, maintains, and improves prototypes or special tools, templates, fixtures, and plastic components that require precise dimensions, according to their specifications.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Technical degree in Tool and Die Maker or Mechanics, or the equivalent in years of experience and performance in related positions and areas. Preferably an associate degree in Tool and Die Maker.
  2. Having participated in a student practice program, COOP, internship, or special projects related to Tool & Die Maker. Or having a minimum of six (6) months of experience in die-making, as a Tool & Die Maker or in related positions, preferably in the manufacturing industry and/or Mold Workshop.



Setup Person

Ensures that the mold is properly installed and operates efficiently and productively in terms of cycle time, part quality, and scrap levels.

Minimum Requirements:  

  1.  High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree and technical certification in mechanics, electronics, or related fields preferred.
  2. Four (4) years as a Set-up Operator in the injection molding area; or two (2) years as a Set-up Operator at Techno-Plastics Industries, Inc.; or the equivalent in years of experience and performance in related positions and areas, preferably in the manufacturing industry. Knowledge of hydraulic systems and industrial mechanics is preferred.
QA Inspector

The Quality Inspector ensures that manufactured products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for visual, dimensional, and functional inspections, managing nonconforming products, and supporting validation activities.

Minimum Requirements:  

  1.  High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Quality or related field preferred.
  2. Minimum one (1) year as a regular employee at TPI, or equivalent experience in a medical device quality department (FDA or ISO 13485 environment).
  3. Strong knowledge of problem-solving and critical analysis methods.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  5. Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
  6. Experience with measurement tools and documentation systems.


Manufacturing Operator

Responsible for the effective inspection of produced parts, including the identification of cosmetic defects during the production process.

Minimum Requirements:  

  1.  High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. No prior experience required. Experience in the manufacturing, production, and/or injection molding industry is preferred.
