QA Inspector

The Quality Inspector ensures that manufactured products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for visual, dimensional, and functional inspections, managing nonconforming products, and supporting validation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of manufactured products.
- Identify, document, and manage nonconforming products.
- Support validation and quality assurance activities.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements (FDA/ISO 13485).
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to verify product conformance.
- Use measurement tools and inspection equipment to perform accurate assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
- Maintain compliance with quality system procedures and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree in Quality or related field preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year as a regular employee at TPI, or equivalent experience in a medical device quality department (FDA or ISO 13485 environment).
- Strong knowledge of problem-solving and critical analysis methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience with measurement tools and documentation systems.

Physical Requirements
- Availability to work extended hours as needed.

- Good visual acuity to inspect small components and use inspection mechanisms.
The position will be on-site full-time. Must be available to work in the plant regularly to properly oversee projects and issues.
